The Excursionistas de Moreno fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Excursionistas de Moreno's Reynaldo Bastian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guillermo Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Acatincăi having to interfere. Sebastian Froylan made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Joel Janpier sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Tomás Dabi in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Excursionistas de Moreno's Ruperto Martxelin. Ruperto Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Froylan having to interfere. Ruperto Martxelin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sebastian Froylan made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Excursionistas de Moreno's Reynaldo Bastian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Froylan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Hickmann's goalkeeper Sebastian Froylan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Janpier. Sebastian Froylan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruperto Martxelin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Excursionistas de Moreno's Ruperto Martxelin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Froylan. Sebastian Froylan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 43rd match minute, Hickmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mundo to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Froylan was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Reynaldo Bastian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reynaldo Bastian really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0.

If Eduardo Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hickmann's Sebastian Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Bastian in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Excursionistas de Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Joel Janpier. A collision led to Hickmann getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mateo Chico hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Martxelin in the 78th minute of play forced Hickmann's goalkeeper Sebastian Froylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Janpier, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Ruperto Martxelin notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Hickmann's Sebastian Froylan. Sebastian Froylan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 98th minute, Joel Janpier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Excursionistas de Moreno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Excursionistas de Moreno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
