In the 16th minute, Ciro Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Hickmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Felipillo to maneuver through the defense. Rubén Daring took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Froylan. Sebastian Froylan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Eduardo Alfonso took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Montrel. Sebastian Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Fliz in the 31st minute of the match. Ciro Luix struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sebastian Froylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los pibes del blockbuster. Sebastian Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Quinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Hickmann's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Luix came free, but Sebastian Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Quinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 45th minute, Guillermo Mundo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Alfonso couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Eduardo Alfonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hickmann's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los pibes del blockbuster the free kick. In the 60th minute, Eduardo Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Los pibes del blockbuster's Lino Fliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Froylan. Sebastian Froylan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After a rather tough play, Hickmann's Hector Felipillo got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Hickmann's Sebastian Froylan got control of the ball when Rubén Daring tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Froylan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubén Daring in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ciro Luix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Froylan. Hickmann's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Luix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. If Rubén Daring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guillermo Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hickmann fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Mundo couldn't finish the play. Los pibes del blockbuster played a much better game than Hickmann and deserved their victory. The Hickmann players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
