In the 5th minute Nicasio Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Pirquitas's Apolo Eliazar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Marcial Nofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apolo Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Iratxo having to interfere. Marcial Nofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Honorato Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Apolo Eliazar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Honorato Iratxo, passed just outside the right post. In the 23rd minute, Marcial Nofre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirquitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mar del plata FC's Christian Padro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Mar del plata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Eliazar came free, but Honorato Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Honorato Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Padro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Apolo Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Iratxo having to interfere. Raul Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes, Pirquitas's Aaron Goyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Honorato Iratxo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pirquitas reached it. In the 65th minute, Julio Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Eliazar took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Iratxo. Honorato Iratxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Honorato Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Nofre in the 71st minute of the match. Marcial Nofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Marcial Nofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Mar del plata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Nofre came free, but Honorato Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Apolo Eliazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Honorato Iratxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Lopes got free with Justo Leheren in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that Pirquitas were the better team. Pirquitas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
