If Gerardo Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Constantino Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Own Life Football fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. Amadeo Dolfo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes JD Morrison got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Dolfo. 20 minutes into the match, Own Life Football's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Amor came free, but Maximo Blasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Gerardo Amor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Jacob to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Amor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Maximo Blasi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cesar Kemen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Gerardo Amor in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximo Blasi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Jacob's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Blasi was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Gerardo Amor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Blasi having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched JD Morrison eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
