Colo Colo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 12th minute Esteban Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Colo Colo FC's Jonathan Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Arnalt in the 15th minute of play. Bonifacio Isaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Illan Calatayud got free with Inocencio Eli in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Isaio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Inocencio Eli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Illan Calatayud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Inocencio Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Illan Calatayud struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Inocencio Eli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo Colo FC. Bonifacio Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
