After 3 minutes of play, Aurelia AFC's Faustino Osorio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedicto Efraim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Inko, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Independiente's Tiburcio Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Osorio in the 11th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Aurelia AFC's Conrado Primeiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Severo Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benedicto Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Braulio Galeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Efraim having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Santo Inko in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tiburcio Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Osorio in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Santo Inko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benedicto Efraim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Severo Cebo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Benedicto Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. A hard shot 43 in the game by Santo Inko from a close distance when the talented Benedicto Efraim managed to make a qualified save. Aurelia AFC's players were relieved. Benedicto Efraim was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Severo Cebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Severo Cebo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After the first half Aurelia AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Santo Inko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Efraim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Braulio Galeno kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Serafin Peter was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Osorio in the 63rd minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Tiburcio Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Aurelia AFC's Jacobo Urbes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Santo Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Efraim having to interfere. Benedicto Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Mironov in the 82nd minute of play. Santo Inko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedicto Efraim having to make a save. The supporters of Independiente booed when Aurelia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Independiente's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
