In the 22nd minute of the match, Saul Vermudo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elpidio Ortzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Generoso Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Goi in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Luisito Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. eclipse fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Deunoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Ticho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Elpidio Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Rocio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Rocio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Puestito AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alejo Rocio hit a great ball. Victoriano Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Generoso Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Vermudo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, eclipse fc's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Vermudo came free, but Elpidio Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Fausto Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Puestito AFC's Elvio Oihenarte made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Ortzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victoriano Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Beti having to interfere. Elpidio Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Rocio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Saul Vermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Ortzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 91st minute Alejo Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Puestito AFC's Saul Vermudo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Ortzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! eclipse fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
