Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute of the match Cayetano Sugoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Etxepare skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Birjaio in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Etxepare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Birjaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Etxepare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Patricio Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Formerio having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alvear AFC! Ricardo Ordono shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Victoriano Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Birjaio in the 20th minute of the match. Generoso Hibai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, Alvear AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Ilazki to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Ricardo Ordono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Formerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Simon Ilazki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Etxepare. Balcosna AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Ilazki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 41st minute, Prudencio Dubardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Hibai struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Armando Etxepare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvear AFC. In the 46th match minute, Alvear AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Birjaio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Alvear AFC's zone, Prudencio Dubardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Formerio came out of the goal and Prudencio Dubardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Gonzalez's late challenge caught a Balcosna AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Gonzalez helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Alvear AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Gonzalez. Victoriano Formerio made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Patricio Indalecio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Birjaio in the 59th minute of play forced Balcosna AFC's goalkeeper Armando Etxepare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Victoriano Formerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd match minute, Alvear AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Generoso Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Etxepare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Patricio Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
