Esteve Oroitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Reynaldo Lander scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Oroitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roberto Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Quinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Roberto Olivar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th of the match, Charlie Aldridge tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Marco Rudolfo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Roberto Olivar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Marco Rudolfo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Aldridge was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Cloyo in the 52nd minute of play forced JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI's goalkeeper Marco Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI's zone, Roberto Olivar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Rudolfo came out of the goal and Roberto Olivar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Roberto Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Tristan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI's Eusebio Paio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Oliva AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Astigar during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel Astigar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Lander. The supporters of Oliva AFC booed when JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Lander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Aldridge in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Teofilo Piarres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Rudolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Olivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Rudolfo having to interfere. Charlie Aldridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Oroitz made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Leon Quinto sent off a good shot on target. Leon Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Oroitz having to interfere. With 85 minutes on the clock, Narciso Tristan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Oliva AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Quinto got free with Esteve Oroitz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Aldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliva AFC's Charlie Aldridge got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Oliva AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing JOERGE NEWBERY DE JUNI to win.
