Thsabalala Mas Diez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Lekubegi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Nestor Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Marciano Pepillo managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Thsabalala Mas Diez's Victor Lekubegi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victor Lekubegi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Marciano Pepillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victor Lekubegi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marciano Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Lekubegi made a kick off. Julio Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Marciano Pepillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Lekubegi's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 94 minutes in the game Ivan Lleir did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jonathan Orlondo. Marciano Pepillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desaguaredo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Thsabalala Mas Diez had controlled the match.
