Spectators: 7129 (Terracing: 5348, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) Samborombón FC's Anier Mede started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Samborombón FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eugenio Sotero hit a great ball. Eliseo Mikolas's shot from long distance in the 7th minute was not bad at all, but Samborombón FC's Marcelo Iratze knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Lekubegi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Iratze. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. If Julio Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Thsabalala Mas Diez defense, Uriel Aguirre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Belmiro. The Thsabalala Mas Diez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Belmiro should have stopped the shot. In the 17th match minute, Samborombón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Malvin to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 19 in the game by Victor Lekubegi from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Iratze managed to make a qualified save. Samborombón FC's players were relieved. Manuel Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Anier Mede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jairo Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Lesardo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Victor Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Iratze having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Samborombón FC's zone, Candido Dolcet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Iratze came out of the goal and Candido Dolcet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Iratze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Lekubegi in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Iratze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Felix Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Lekubegi in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Iratze, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Samborombón FC's Marcelo Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Lekubegi in the 53rd minute of play. Julio Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marcelo Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thsabalala Mas Diez's Victor Lekubegi got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Uriel Aguirre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samborombón FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thsabalala Mas Diez the free kick. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Celedonio Isaio with Astor Txerran as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 61 minutes of play, Thsabalala Mas Diez's Victor Lekubegi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Iratze was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Uriel Aguirre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jairo Belmiro, 2-2. The supporters of Thsabalala Mas Diez booed when Samborombón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Iratze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Lekubegi's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Candido Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Lekubegi in the 93rd minute of play forced Samborombón FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Iratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
