After some careless play in the Guarujà Futevolei defense, Hector Estevon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermengildo Procopio. The Guarujà Futevolei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Procopio should have stopped the shot. Fabio Ortzi came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarujà Futevolei's Inocencio Gipuzkoa. But to his dismay, Inocencio Gipuzkoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Vinicio Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gamay FC! Fabio Ortzi went to the wrong direction when Bernabe Mikeldi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With his leg Fabio Ortzi managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Guarujà Futevolei's Vinicio Arixo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hermengildo Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Guarujà Futevolei's Victoriano Odol got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hermengildo Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Ibar in the 23rd minute of the match. Guarujà Futevolei's Hermengildo Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Ibar in the 25th minute of play. Vinicio Arixo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Ortzi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes in the game, Vinicio Arixo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Hermengildo Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Ibar in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Estevon in the 44th minute of play forced Guarujà Futevolei's goalkeeper Hermengildo Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Casimiro Orti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Ibar in the 47th minute of the match.

If Vinicio Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Guarujà Futevolei got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Maiorga. Ciro Abecia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Hector Estevon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Desiderio Ibar took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Hermengildo Procopio to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Frasquito came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hermengildo Procopio could save by the left post. Hermengildo Procopio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Estevon in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Guarujà Futevolei's goalkeeper Hermengildo Procopio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Estevon. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Hondo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusebio Jaunti got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gamay FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Estevon got free with Hermengildo Procopio in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Bernabe Mikeldi notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Gamay FC's Fabio Ortzi. Fabio Ortzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogelio Endira kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
