In the 8th minute Fausto Panfilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Lagunillas AFC were awarded a corner. Delmiro Donio went to the cornerflag to take it. Lagunillas AFC's Delmiro Donio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaudencio Cresitobalo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Basilio Nazario struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Gaudencio Cresitobalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagunillas AFC. The crowd rose to their feet as Basilio Nazario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaudencio Cresitobalo. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pasion Bonsai's zone, Delmiro Donio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Cresitobalo came out of the goal and Delmiro Donio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gervasio Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagunillas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Gaskon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Cresitobalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pasion Bonsai's Gaudencio Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Panfilo in the 25th minute of play. Lagunillas AFC's Basilio Nazario got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Pasion Bonsai's Gaudencio Cresitobalo got control of the ball when Delmiro Donio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaudencio Cresitobalo was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Delmiro Donio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Delmiro Donio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Nazario in the 33rd minute of play forced Pasion Bonsai's goalkeeper Gaudencio Cresitobalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Mingo's late challenge caught a Lagunillas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Mingo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Ernesto Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Nazario might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Cresitobalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Nazario ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaudencio Cresitobalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Donio in the 60th minute of the match. Igor Tercero was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
