The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ermegildo Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sebastian Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Jurdan in the 17th minute of play. Palermo FC's Damaso Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Gudesteo in the 20th minute of play. Sebastian Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 31st match minute, Club Rojinegro Bragado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Club Rojinegro Bragado's goalkeeper Sebastian Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Britto. Damaso Nuñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Gudesteo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marcelino Gudesteo's late challenge caught a Palermo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Gudesteo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Rojinegro Bragado getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Marcelino Gudesteo hit a great ball. Gabriel Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Club Rojinegro Bragado booed when Palermo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Gudesteo in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Jurdan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Marcelino Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Tolino hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Jurdan scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermegildo Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Dalmacio Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93rd play minutes Ermegildo Jurdan shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Sebastian Romero and just under the crossbar into goal. Ermegildo Jurdan struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sebastian Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo FC. When the referee ended the match the Palermo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
