When Carmelo Henry fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COCO FCB's protests and gave Carmelo Henry a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, COCO FCB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Henry to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Atilano Roland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Enaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Urbano Ramone scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Ramone might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Ramone ran back to his position shaking his head. Atilano Roland scored 1-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Enaut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. COCO FCB's Julian Enaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Roland in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Pedro Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pedro Playo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Islas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Playo couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind COCO FCB's goalkeeper Julian Enaut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Roland to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Emilio Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Roland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julian Enaut firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 56 minutes of play COCO FCB's Carmelo Henry was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to COCO FCB getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Carmelo Henry hit a great ball. Julian Enaut made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Atilano Roland sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 64 in the game by Atilano Roland from a close distance when the talented Julian Enaut managed to make a qualified save. COCO FCB's players were relieved. Emilio Goito charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Goito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes COCO FCB got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Goito. 73 minutes into the game, Pedro Playo lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Julian Enaut. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Roland came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julian Enaut could save by the left post. In the 90th minute Pedro Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Julian Enaut managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Islas FC's Atilano Roland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Islas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
