Miguel Garaile charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Garaile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the game, Cirilo Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boomerang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monserrat Tango Club the free kick. Cirilo Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Eleuterio Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Boomerang's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cordarrel came free, but Virgílio Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Secco having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Leonardo Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Paolo Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco-Antonio Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Boomerang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Wodaszak to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Secco having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Gartzea in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgílio Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Gartzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgílio Secco was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. A collision led to Boomerang getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Celso Frances hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Monserrat Tango Club had played much better football throughout.
