Duda Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liverpool F.C's Duda Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Neto in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ferrer in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Argoitz saved Tuisón AFC from getting behind. Liverpool F.C's Gaston Ferrer got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liverpool F.C fully deserved thier win.
