The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Mercurio got free with Teobaldo Lando in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 16 minutes, Martin Tome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irving SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Tome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Dantel was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes Tuisón AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidoro Quinton who took care of the corner kick. Leopoldo Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Mede in the 56th minute. Leonides Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuisón AFC's Leopoldo Argoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Tuisón AFC from getting a goal against them. Ubaldo Mede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Argoitz having to interfere. If Leonides Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ubaldo Mede came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Irving SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Mede couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Irving SS's Ubaldo Mede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Argoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Leonides Dantel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Tuisón AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Irving SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
