But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Mincho couldn't finish the play. Leandro Garci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Semail Ziver made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Mincho in the 16th minute of play forced Armenia F.C.'s goalkeeper Tınaz Enginiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Armenia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Mambru. After a defensive mix-up in Armenia F.C.'s zone, Bernabe Elivareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tınaz Enginiz came out of the goal and Bernabe Elivareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armenia F.C.'s Tınaz Enginiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Mincho in the 27th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Baltasar Mincho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tınaz Enginiz. Armenia F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Mincho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Armenia F.C.'s Michael Siöberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by William Cruz in the 30 minute of the game. After 35 minutes, Alberto Mambru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Armenia F.C. and the Independiente F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Armenia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Mambru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Garci in the 39th minute of play forced Independiente F.C.'s goalkeeper Semail Ziver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Independiente F.C.'s Semail Ziver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Independiente F.C. from getting a goal against them. Tınaz Enginiz came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente F.C.'s Cesar Jusepe. But to his dismay, Cesar Jusepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baltasar Mincho made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Silvestre Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Garci in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Semail Ziver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Hector Bastiaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Semail Ziver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Mambru in the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Cruz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Armenia F.C. booed when Independiente F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Michael Siöberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Semail Ziver didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Armenia F.C.'s Leandro Garci shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Semail Ziver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Independiente F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
