The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB. The referee gave Matará a penalty, 3 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Genaro Iigo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB's Generoso Arotza. 0-1. In the 6th minute Constantino Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Matará's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Guter came free, but Emilio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Domiku in the 10th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Emilio Eyague successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15th minute, Ramiro Lore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB's Generoso Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Cheche in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Eriberto Cheche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB booed when Matará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Matará's Emilio Eyague got control of the ball when Ulises Pirro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Hernan Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Domiku was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB's Mario Domiku got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Genaro Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Cheche in the 30th minute of the match. Constantino Guter hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Genaro Iigo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Generoso Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matará. Ulises Pirro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Eyague having to make a save. After 39 played minutes Matará got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Herauso. A sloppy throw-in by Saturnino Evangelista in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB's Jonathan Enetz. Arnaldo Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matará were winning 1-3.

In the 53rd match minute, SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Pirro to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB's Ulises Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Eyague made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 63rd minute, Hernan Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Saturnino Evangelista with Rolando Austin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Generoso Arotza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Genaro Iigo scored to the left of an out of position Generoso Arotza, making the score, 2-4. 93 minutes into the game, Genaro Iigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Generoso Arotza. Genaro Iigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. The SCOFIELD FUTBOL CLUB supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Matará's performance. The match ended with a win for Matará.
