In the 5th minute Eriberto Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Cheche came free, but Hugo Pietro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Saturnino Evangelista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rosario getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sílvio de Amorim hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Eriberto Cheche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Pietro was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After having played for 39 minutes, Sílvio de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Pietro came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Matará's Genaro Iigo. But to his dismay, Genaro Iigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 45 played minutes Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Donato Tono. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateo Elija made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Matará's Genaro Iigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Jonatan Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Emilio Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience held their breath when Genaro Iigo in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Hugo Pietro's left hand side. In the 66th minute, Matará's Eriberto Cheche ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Pietro. Hugo Pietro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Eloy Herauso hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ramiro Lore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hugo Pietro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Pietro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Hernan Gartxot sent off a good shot on target. Isidro Domiku kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Constantino Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matará the free kick. After 95 played minutes Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio de Amorim.
