Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paolo Bermudez took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Chimpay booed when Palmarcito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Ereinotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Gabriel Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimpay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pastor Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ereinotz in the 23rd minute of play forced Chimpay's goalkeeper Juan Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Bermudez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Shantala having to make a save. 25 minutes into the game, Eustacio Pirmin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chimpay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmarcito the free kick. A collision led to Chimpay getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eustacio Pirmin hit a great ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 27th minute, but Artemio Cresencio got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Palmarcito hanging dry this time. In the 30th minute Gabriel Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Cresencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmarcito's Artemio Cresencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Palmarcito from getting a goal against them. Eustacio Pirmin hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
