In the 8thth minute of the game Efrain Videl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Villa Espil's Lino Licerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaspar Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Juan Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atletico Villa Espil's Nicolas Cuarto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Juan Shantala but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Auffarth in the 17th minute of play forced Chimpay's goalkeeper Juan Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chimpay's Eustacio Pirmin got a free kick in the 18th minute. The supporters of Atletico Villa Espil booed when Chimpay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chimpay's Juan Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Sazon in the 22nd minute of play. Nick Auffarth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Shantala having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Atletico Villa Espil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Unai to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, Atletico Villa Espil's Mario Cesario made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Shantala was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Chimpay's Eustacio Pirmin got a free kick in the 31st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chimpay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Nicasio Quintin scored 3-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Shantala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Nick Auffarth took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Juan Shantala to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 40 minutes, Gaspar Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Villa Espil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Unai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute of the match Nicasio Quintin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Shantala skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Atletico Villa Espil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chimpay:s goal. Jaime Giraldo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Hug to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Nicasio Quintin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Villa Espil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chimpay the free kick. The supporters of Chimpay booed when Atletico Villa Espil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Videl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Atletico Villa Espil's Severiano Sazon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 62 minutes into the match, Chimpay's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Thomas came free, but Juan Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Atletico Villa Espil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Unai to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Nicolas Cuarto put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Lino Licerio, was totally fooled by Chimpay's Jaime Giraldo, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Severiano Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Villa Espil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Sazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Hug in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Villa Espil's Gaspar Unai got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mario Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Villa Espil's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Cesario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Shantala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Sazon's late challenge caught a Chimpay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Sazon helped the player get up and apologised. Severiano Sazon hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mario Cesario struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Juan Shantala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Villa Espil. Juan Shantala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Sazon went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.
