Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niceto Baristo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Walmyr Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Rodas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Tacuara defense, Niceto Baristo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Rodas. The Tacuara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Rodas should have stopped the shot. Walmyr Silveira struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ramiro Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo De Almagro. Leo Ramone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Victorino Guillelme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Hernando in the 16th minute of play. Ramiro Rodas stood somewhat misplaced when Niceto Baristo came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo De Almagro's Niceto Baristo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramiro Rodas. That made the score 4-0 after 21 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tacuara's zone, Enrique Tibalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Rodas came out of the goal and Enrique Tibalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Niceto Baristo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramiro Rodas, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Ramone to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Rodas came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo De Almagro's Walmyr Silveira. But to his dismay, Walmyr Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Jonathan Olentzaro fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacuara's protests and gave Jonathan Olentzaro a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Ignacio Lehior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Romulo Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Rodas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Frantzes went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Ramiro Rodas came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo De Almagro's Niceto Baristo. But to his dismay, Niceto Baristo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Niceto Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo De Almagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romulo Frantzes took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Rodas. Ramiro Rodas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Walmyr Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ramiro Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, San Lorenzo De Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Frantzes to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that San Lorenzo De Almagro were the better team. San Lorenzo De Almagro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
