After a rather tough play, Sparta FC's Nicasio Mirande got a free kick in the 13th minute. A hard shot 17 in the game by Zeledon Jerold from a close distance when the talented Carlos Betadur managed to make a qualified save. El Ancla F.C's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Zeledon Jerold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Betadur was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Zeledon Jerold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Ancla F.C's Carlos Betadur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeledon Jerold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Txindoki hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Marciano Cebo threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Ancla F.C's Antonio Cordareo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 46 minutes, Calistrat Toader managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sparta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calistrat Toader was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Jerold in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Betadur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sparta FC booed when El Ancla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 minutes, Honorato Txindoki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Ancla F.C and the Sparta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sparta FC booed when El Ancla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Txindoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, El Ancla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Tande came free, but Carlos Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Ancla F.C's zone, Calistrat Toader stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Betadur came out of the goal and Calistrat Toader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Calistrat Toader came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sparta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calistrat Toader couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Jerold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
