In the 3rd minute, Delmiro Bernat made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Nofre. Aries Jr.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fermin Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Marcelo Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Victorio Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Moises Santxol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Victorio Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Santxol in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jimeno Atauri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Nofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Aries Jr.'s Apolo Nevada got a free kick in the 27th minute. Moises Santxol scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Nofre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Joel Frederik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aries Jr.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Argentino Sur the free kick. In the 38th minute, Joel Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Nofre having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Delmiro Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, C.A. Argentino Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Frederik came free, but Marcelo Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lorenzo Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Atauri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Atauri was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. C.A. Argentino Sur's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Delmiro Bernat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Nofre having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Firme during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moises Santxol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Nofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Delmiro Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorenzo Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Atauri in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Victorio Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Basilio Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Aries Jr. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Diaz couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Nofre came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Argentino Sur's Delmiro Bernat. But to his dismay, Delmiro Bernat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Delmiro Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lorenzo Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Nofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Bernat in the 78th minute. Marcelo Jerold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Cordeiro went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Delmiro Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Nofre made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Moises Santxol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Argentino Sur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
