When Zonda's Leonides Baumar in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Raul Firme guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. David Escamilla kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Álvarez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Moise. When Damian Ignazio came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Zonda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Ignazio couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Leonides Baumar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, Álvarez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Txomin to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Basilio Cheche led 53 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal.
