The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osvaldo Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Abancens in the 42nd minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Cornelio Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuby Juniors's Osvaldo Jaen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Aznaro in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Jaen saved Chuby Juniors from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Abancens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Jaen was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chuby Juniors's zone, Fabio Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Jaen came out of the goal and Fabio Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Cornelio Abancens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cornelio Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Club A. Sportivo Boca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Abancens couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Club A. Sportivo Boca left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chuby Juniors.
