Estadio Tambillos
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Freddy Artaldo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Tambillos booed when Oriental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oriental's Lucas Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Abajas in the 10th minute of play. Oriental's Freddy Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Caetano's late challenge caught a Tambillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Caetano helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oriental! When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Tambillos's Benjamin Clis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lucas Tiso. Severo Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lucas Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tambillos getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Severo Cresconio hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Oriental got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Firme. Severo Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Clis to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Abajas made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oriental's zone, Edgard Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Tiso came out of the goal and Edgard Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Tiso having to interfere. Lucas Tiso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Abajas in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Cresconio in the 66th minute of play forced Oriental's goalkeeper Lucas Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edgard Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tambillos made a substitution. Eduardo Calixto replaced Edgard Abajas. Eduardo Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Severo Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Tiso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Tiso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Cresconio in the 75th minute of play. Eduardo Calixto hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bruno Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Oriental's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Calixto came free, but Lucas Tiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Oriental was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Txanton to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Calixto, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Lucas Tiso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Calixto's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Eduardo Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tambillos fully deserved thier win.
