In the 36th minute, Ovidio Gomez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Bastia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ovidio Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN TELMO's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Bastia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Omero to make the kick off. Pasion Diabolica 's Tomás Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Gomez in the 60th minute of play. Rolando Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, SAN TELMO's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Sadurni came free, but Rolando Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Eneko got free with Rolando Izotz in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Roderigo in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Victorio Ilixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pasion Diabolica and the SAN TELMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pasion Diabolica getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Victorio Ilixo hit a great ball. Tomás Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Omero in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Ovidio Gomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ovidio Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Aaron Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Eneko struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Rolando Izotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasion Diabolica . It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SAN TELMO had played much better football throughout.
