In the 19th minute, one of Ciénaga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ciénaga. In the 31st minute, C.A. Aldosivi's Tiburcio Txema seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tiburcio Txema the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C.A. Aldosivi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiburcio Txema had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 30 minutes into the game, one of C.A. Aldosivi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filiberto Macerio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Constantino Vitin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alberto Matthew. 43 minutes into the match, Ciénaga's goalkeeper Constantino Vitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Joseph. In the 45th minute of the match Fulgencio Abalos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Vitin skillfully saved the ball. When Jeremias Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the C.A. Aldosivi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Joseph couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Joseph couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Cesario spun around in front of the goal 88 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of C.A. Aldosivi's goal.
