The supporters of Simple Plan booed when ALMAFUERTE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Sayvion having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Txatxu to strike the kick off in the second half. The Simple Plan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Edur should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Simple Plan's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Martxelin came free, but Benito Edur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, ALMAFUERTE FC's Marciano Giro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Edur was left in no man's land by his defense there! ALMAFUERTE FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
