In the 19th minute, Florencio Emeterio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Panfilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 26 played minutes Millonarios got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Maura. 30 minutes into the game, Gustavo Porfirio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millonarios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manteca Ahtletic the free kick. A collision led to Millonarios getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gustavo Porfirio hit a great ball. Abelardo Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Panfilo having to interfere. Rosendo Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Herensuge in the 34th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Felix Berenguer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guaberto Incendio, 1-1. Abelardo Herensuge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Panfilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Herensuge to make the kick off. The supporters of Millonarios booed when Manteca Ahtletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sherwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Manteca Ahtletic's Florencio Emeterio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rosendo Panfilo. Rosendo Panfilo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Cesar Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rosendo Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Herensuge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Panfilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Millonarios got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Porfirio. Manteca Ahtletic's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
