But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Inguma couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Severiano Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo los Gangosos's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of c.e.p booed when Deportivo los Gangosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Oriol in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Gaskon saved c.e.p from getting behind. If Mauro Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Bernabe Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. c.e.p's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo los Gangosos's Guido Casomiro was substituted for Saul Shepherd. In the 75th minute, Mauro Oriol made a precise shot to the right of Anier Gaskon. c.e.p's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo los Gangosos's Severiano Eufrasio got a free kick in the 77th minute. Deportivo los Gangosos's Cecilio Jago was substituted for Mauro Oriol.
