In the 38th minute of the match, Basilio Haimar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Braulio Garin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 43 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Txomin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Braulio Garin, 3-0. When Emilio Aurken fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tandil FC's protests and gave Emilio Aurken a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Pacho to make the kick off. Braulio Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mauro Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tandil FC booed when Deportivo los Gangosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Eufrasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo los Gangosos's Mauro Oriol got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Mauro Oriol notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Tandil FC's Braulio Garin. The Tandil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Garin should have stopped the shot. Tandil FC's Danilo Manny managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guido Casomiro in the 75 minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Mauro Oriol notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Tandil FC's Braulio Garin. Braulio Garin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo los Gangosos's Cecilio Jago was substituted for Mauro Oriol. Braulio Garin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo los Gangosos's Cecilio Jago. But to his dismay, Cecilio Jago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tandil FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo los Gangosos.
