Gavino Llope scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimiro Urki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Luján's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Mazuste came free, but Vladimiro Urki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Mazuste in the 18th minute of the match. Vladimiro Urki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Benedicto Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Medina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Benedicto Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Panquehá AFC's Gervasio Mazuste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Urki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gavino Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panquehá AFC's Gervasio Mazuste got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Gavino Llope put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimiro Urki. Luján's Vladimiro Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Mazuste in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Lamberto made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Luján's Hugo Jenaro got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Luján's zone, Gavino Llope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Urki came out of the goal and Gavino Llope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gervasio Mazuste came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Panquehá AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Mazuste couldn't finish the play. Gavino Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Urki having to interfere. Gervasio Mazuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Gavino Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Gervasio Mazuste got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Gavino Llope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Urki was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Aristides Mitxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Dalmacio Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luján's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Asteri having to interfere. Aristides Mitxel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Gavino Llope came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Panquehá AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Llope couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the game, one of Luján:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Panquehá AFC played a much better game than Luján and deserved their victory. The Luján players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
