Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Americo Dantae got the match started through his kick off. Oscar Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Dantae, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Americo Dantae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Dantae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Americo Dantae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Asteri was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 9th match minute, Panquehá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. Albano Efraim made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gervasio Mazuste sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Chicho FC booed when Panquehá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Francho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Mazuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Chicho FC's Albano Efraim got control of the ball when Gervasio Mazuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gervasio Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Americo Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Oscar Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Panquehá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Inocente came free, but Oscar Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Albano Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chicho FC's zone, Gavino Llope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Efraim came out of the goal and Gavino Llope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

54 minutes into the game, Filomeno Salbatore threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chicho FC's Aquiles Barros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Chicho FC booed when Panquehá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Mitxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Chicho FC's Americo Dantae in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfredo Cordaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play.
