Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Golden soldiers F.C's Desiderio Sagrario got control of the ball when Nicasio Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 5 minutes, Nicasio Quinteros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden soldiers F.C and the Newells players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicasio Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Froilan Reno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Desiderio Sagrario. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Newells's Arsenio Obeko got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arnulfo Kinsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Jaen's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, one of Golden soldiers F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden soldiers F.C. Desiderio Sagrario made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Nicasio Paul sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Saverio Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newells's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Damario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Sagrario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Sagrario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Damario in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Saverio Damario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Sagrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Saverio Damario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden soldiers F.C's Desiderio Sagrario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nicasio Paul could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Desiderio Sagrario however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

60 minutes into the match, Newells's Nicasio Paul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Sagrario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Golden soldiers F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Rami to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Sagrario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés Jaen had several of the Newells's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Arnulfo Kinsen as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Newells's Arsenio Obeko got a free kick in the 70th minute. Moisés Jaen in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnulfo Kinsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicasio Paul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Newells's Saverio Damario in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden soldiers F.C's goalie prevented a goal. 82 minutes into the game, Pascual Handi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arnulfo Kinsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Desiderio Sagrario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Damario in the 87th minute of play. Saverio Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Sagrario having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Golden soldiers F.C's Gerardo Maiorga got a free kick in the 91st minute. Although Newells had been in control for most of the match, Golden soldiers F.C still came away with the win.
