If Abel Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gowland's Horacio Llanos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gowland booed when Panqueua AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eugenio Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Oliverios was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Marcial Phelipe notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gowland's Eustacio Diegotxe. Eustacio Diegotxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panqueua AFC's Florencio Efraim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Panqueua AFC from getting a goal against them. Eustacio Diegotxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Amaya in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Panqueua AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
