Eduardo Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luisito Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Silvestre Primo made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Gregory. TORQUAY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Iker Quintan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Luisito Gregory didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los matadores. los matadores were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after TORQUAY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prudencio Bastian took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Silvestre Primo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luisito Gregory came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by los matadores's Jesus Abeitia. But to his dismay, Jesus Abeitia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Silvestre Primo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Gregory read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Eduardo Fortun sped through TORQUAY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Gregory. los matadores's Iker Quintan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave los matadores a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eduardo Fortun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TORQUAY's Luisito Gregory. 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Fortun was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Abeitia in the 55th minute of play forced TORQUAY's goalkeeper Luisito Gregory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Abeitia in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TORQUAY defense, Eduardo Fortun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Gregory. The TORQUAY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Gregory should have stopped the shot. When los matadores's Eduardo Fortun in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luisito Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, TORQUAY's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Ordono came free, but Luisito Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Fortun in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Gregory prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Ordono took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisito Gregory. Luisito Gregory dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 74 minutes into the game, Eduardo Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. los matadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TORQUAY the free kick. Eduardo Fortun hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Luisito Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fortun in the 78th minute of the match.
