In the 27th minute, Aristides Venerando made a precise shot to the right of Lino Gaizko. Sastre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 31st minute, Iker Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Albino Marin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lino Gaizko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Bernal having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Igon made a kick off. Albino Marins short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Lino Gaizko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santiago Maxin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Edgardo Txaran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lino Gaizko. Sastre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Albino Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventud Las Piedras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Marin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Silverio Ieltxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes of play, Juventud Las Piedras's Albino Marin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Gaizko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Gaizko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iker Garaile showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 74 minute of play. Lino Gaizko made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ubaldo Obeko sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Sastre defense, Albino Marin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Gaizko. The Sastre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Gaizko should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bernabe Bernal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Txaran made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Federico Tavio. Juventud Las Piedras played a much better game than Sastre and deserved their victory. The Sastre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
