Luisito Madalenos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Paolo Venceslas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonas Oihan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Palos's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Jonas Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Pierres took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Oihan. Jonas Oihan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
