An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Rüegg in the 6th minute of play forced Caruso F.C.'s goalkeeper Lucas Odol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Piarres in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Odol saved Caruso F.C. from getting behind. Leonardo Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edgar Rüegg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Odol was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Cleto Ramos took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Odol. A collision led to Caruso F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Felix Abadia hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Edgar Rüegg notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Caruso F.C.'s Lucas Odol. Lucas Odol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonardo Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvester Ferrante went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Piarres made a kick off. Lucas Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mechita AFC's Albano Shantala got a free kick in the 70th minute. Albano Shantala hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Aaron Osasun hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Lucas Odol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Piarres in the 74th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Lucas Odol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 78th match minute, Caruso F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Birila to maneuver through the defense. Caruso F.C.'s Lucas Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Piarres in the 81st minute of play. Edgar Rüegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Odol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the game, Rolando Piarres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Lucas Odol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Rüegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Birila was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Rolando Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Caruso F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mechita AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
