The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Gonchan during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teobaldo Ongile came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eusebio Endura could save by the left post. During the 17th minute of the match Erasmo Gonchan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erasmo Gonchan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 18th match minute, Panaholma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Oséas de Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Argi was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Ciriaco Modestio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Argi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Teobaldo Ongile might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebio Endura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Ongile ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Teobaldo Ongile got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Panaholma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas de Senna came free, but Omar Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Oséas de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Argi. Panaholma FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oséas de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Laureano Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Oséas de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Millos de carilo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Ongile made a kick off. Eusebio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Ongile in the 54th minute of play. Panaholma FC's Iosif Maragoudakis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amadeo Atarrabi in the 59 minute of the game. In the 66th match minute, Los Millos de carilo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas de Senna to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Ciriaco Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Ciriaco Modestio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Millos de carilo and the Panaholma FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
