The long shot by Tomas Txurio in the 44th minute really tested Tiburcio Taurino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Taurino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Millos de carilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Modestio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 played minutes Guanaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Torres. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Millos de carilo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guanaco AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
