Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidoro Hitzeder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ceferino Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Ibon having to interfere. La banda Roja F.C's Isidoro Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Benito Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Venceslao's late challenge caught a La banda Roja F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Venceslao helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Puan booed when La banda Roja F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Osvaldo Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the La banda Roja F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Abreu couldn't finish the play. Despite this Pascual Ibon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. La banda Roja F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puan the free kick. La banda Roja F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
