Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The tension between the Iglesia and the Rodero AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rodero AFC booed when Iglesia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Muc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, Iglesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Guillelme to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Colon didn't quite understand what happened when in the 9 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 24 played minutes Iglesia got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Bizi. Wilfredo Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Roberto Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cristo Nuxila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Fliz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Federico Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Giro to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Giro in the 56th minute of play forced Iglesia's goalkeeper Roberto Fliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Alfonso Giro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Domingos Txeru fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodero AFC's protests and gave Domingos Txeru a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Txeru kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Iglesia got a freekick which was hit by Roman Venerando. Federico Brion struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Roberto Fliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodero AFC. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iglesia's goalkeeper Roberto Fliz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Bizi's late challenge caught a Rodero AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Bizi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Iglesia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eloy Bizi hit a great ball. Wilfredo Osoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Petri in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Rodero AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
