The player immediately received a yellow card. Severiano Galsino kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Galsino in the 14th minute of play forced Mapis AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Anacleto Paul elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 21 played minutes BEN HUR RAFAELA got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Madaleno. 22 minutes into the game, Mapis AFC's Anacleto Paul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Jayvier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ladislao Argi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leopoldo Virila firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Argi got free with Leopoldo Virila in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mapis AFC's Guillermo Aurken got a free kick in the 30th minute. Leopoldo Virila made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ladislao Argi sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Virila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Ortle in the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Gerardo Weterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mapis AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Isaias Madaleno's late challenge caught a Mapis AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Madaleno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, BEN HUR RAFAELA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute Gerardo Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Jayvier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mapis AFC's Leopoldo Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Galsino in the 56th minute of play. When Nicanor Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the BEN HUR RAFAELA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Ortle couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Israel Lordi sped through Mapis AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Virila. After 71 minutes of play, BEN HUR RAFAELA's Israel Lordi made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Virila was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ladislao Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Paul in the 79th minute of play forced BEN HUR RAFAELA's goalkeeper Evaristo Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, BEN HUR RAFAELA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Ermengol to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Gerardo Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapis AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Weterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mapis AFC's Camilo Manny got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Mapis AFC booed when BEN HUR RAFAELA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Gerardo Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapis AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Weterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Evaristo Jayvier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Lordi in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, BEN HUR RAFAELA's Severiano Galsino got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute, Nicanor Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see BEN HUR RAFAELA lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
