In the 12th minute Arnoldo Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. f c gimnasia's Leandro Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Oscar Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Matthew in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Humberto Richie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to f c gimnasia getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Adolfo Carvalho hit a great ball. If Leandro Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anastasio Matthew came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the f c gimnasia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Matthew couldn't finish the play. Humberto Richie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Barros in the 24th minute of play. Conrado Urtun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Guifre in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Jayvier in the 28th minute of play forced f c gimnasia's goalkeeper Conrado Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tolloche AFC defense, Anastasio Matthew kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Richie. The Tolloche AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Richie should have stopped the shot. Anastasio Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Richie having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, f c gimnasia's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Erruki came free, but Conrado Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Conrado Urtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Guifre in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Guifre made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Estefan got free with Conrado Urtun in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, f c gimnasia's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Guifre came free, but Conrado Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Humberto Richie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Evis during the 63rd minute. But to his dismay, Anastasio Matthew quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Conrado Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Guifre in the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, f c gimnasia's goalkeeper Conrado Urtun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Estefan. Venancio Jayvier kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Tolloche AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Barros came free, but Humberto Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of f c gimnasia booed when Tolloche AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Guifre didn't get a good kick on the ball. f c gimnasia made a substitution. Evaristo Havier replaced Domingos Acevedo. After 83 played minutes Tolloche AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Guifre. Conrado Urtun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Erruki in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Jairo Erruki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Estefan got free with Conrado Urtun in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnoldo Guifre succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4.
