Paulino Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Ascencio in the 25th minute of play. Emanuel Oinaz's late challenge caught a El Mondongo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Oinaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Cadillal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Leizarraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Honorio Dantae made a huge save. If Tiburcio Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cadillal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Loiola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cadillal AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dario Rey in the 45th minute. A collision led to Cadillal AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eduardo Ascencio hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Ascencio made a kick off. Honorio Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Bero in the 72nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Horado during the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes, Cadillal AFC's Dario Rey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulino Bastian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cadillal AFC reached it. Amadeo Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Lucas Horado took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Dantae. Honorio Dantae dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. El Mondongo's Paulino Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Loiola in the 92nd minute of play. If Eduardo Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
